OFF THE BRICK – Italian
A small New York-style pizzeria on 49th Street North, just south of Park Boulevard, family-run in Pinellas Park since 1999 - first as Central Pizza, later rebranded to Off The Brick. The dough and signature sauce are made in house daily, hand-tossed on wooden peels and baked in Bakers Pride brick-lined deck ovens, which is what gives the crust its thin snap and soft centre. Beyond pizza there are calzones and strombolis, garlic knots, chicken parmesan, chicken alfredo and Greek salad. Three tables and their own delivery drivers. Regulars rate the calzone as highly as the slices.
