Sandwiches are the reason to stop: a Cuban built on mojo pork, the mojo pork on its own, chicken salad, a Reuben, and a BLT people plan a detour around. Sides run to Cuban black beans over yellow rice. Finish with banana pudding. The staff stay quick and genuinely warm even when the little room is jammed. It only opens a few days a week - worth checking before you drive out.
