PIACERE PIZZA – Italian
Piacere works a wood-fired oven on NE 27th Street in Miami's Edgewater stretch and keeps it going until one in the morning. The pizzas run from a straight Margherita and pepperoni to burrata pies and a house line built on a ricotta-stuffed crust, with the mortadella and pistachio and the truffle-mushroom versions doing most of the talking. Calzones, paninis and a Nutella pizza cover the rest. Regulars treat it as the late-night default rather than a destination, which is its own kind of endorsement. Blistered crust, long hours, no ceremony.
