Sandwichim by Nagila sits in the Pico-Robertson kosher corridor on West Pico, the meat-side counterpart to Nagila Pizza and an offshoot of the old Nagila Meating Place. Everything is panini-pressed on a crisp French roll and served with potato wedges and slaw: Toast Naknik, Philly steak, chicken teriyaki, schnitzel and shawarma. The format is counter-service, the flavours are Israeli, and the certification is OK Kosher. Closed Friday and Saturday, open till eight the rest of the week. A serious sandwich in a neighbourhood that knows the difference.
