Shakers on East Hathaway Avenue is a drive-thru first and a restaurant second, and in a town the size of Bronson that has made it the number one place to eat. The milkshakes are the reason - thick, house-made and locally famous - with burgers, chicken wings and fries alongside, plus specialty wraps like the BBQ chicken and the Philly steak. Combination meals start around ten dollars. You order at the window, though nobody minds if you park and eat. Small-town fast food done properly, and the shakes justify the detour.
