Shoi's cooks Venezuelan-Chinese - a real cuisine with real history, and one Doral is better placed to appreciate than most American cities. The kitchen on NW 112th Avenue turns out fried rice and ribs that local rankings put near the top of the city, alongside spring rolls and the rest of the Chinese-Venezuelan canon, with a second room in Medley. Portions are large, prices are reasonable, and reviewers keep mentioning the welcome as much as the food. Weekday hours, eleven to nine. Familiar Chinese cooking bent through Caracas, and better for the detour.
