SOULFUL FLAVOR – Restaurant

A Black-owned soul food truck working the Lake County circuit out of West Main Street, cooking down-south comfort food with more care than the format usually gets. Fish comes out moist and properly seasoned, and the loaded salads are the surprise - built tall, composed rather than tossed, and unusual enough on a soul food board that guests bring them up first. The rest is tradition: rich, slow-cooked plates meant to be eaten hot from the container. Service is warm and quick, and the truck's schedule gets tracked closely by people who plan lunch around it. Small operation, serious cooking.
