SUR EMPANADAS – Restaurant
SUR Empanadas & Subs has been folding empanadas in Little Haiti on NW 2nd Avenue since 2017, and the fillings are where the argument gets made: beef with olives, chicken and scallion, mushroom. Argentine square pizzas come out on Fridays, and every other Friday around seven the back patio turns into a neighborhood party with a DJ spinning vinyl and pizza coming off the line. Salads and gourmet sandwiches round out a menu that is otherwise unapologetically pastry-driven.
