Sushiko has been working West Pico Boulevard since 2009, a full sushi bar and grill that happens to be certified Kosher Pareve by the RCC - which makes it one of the few places in Los Angeles where that sentence is possible. The Japanese Pizza is the signature oddity, with Cajun tuna carpaccio for the raw-fish crowd and a rice crispy treat closing things out. Regulars steer newcomers toward the Red Dragon and Caterpillar rolls and the masago dipping sauce. Sake and draft beer on the list, Friday hours cut short for Shabbat. Fresh fish, no compromises.
