Taco Rumba works Washington Avenue in South Beach with the volume up - an energetic Mexican room built around street-style flavors, handcrafted margaritas and a tequila list worth reading. Tacos and antojitos come out to be shared, and the Tampiquena is the plate to order when you want something bigger than a taco. It opens at ten in the morning, which in that stretch of Miami Beach means it catches breakfast, lunch, and whatever the night turns into. Family-friendly earlier, considerably less so later. Honest Mexican food in a room that behaves like a party.
