Tandir Kebab House – Restaurant

Tandir Kebab House brought a proper Bukharian grill to Union Turnpike in Fresh Meadows, cooking the food of the Jewish communities of Uzbekistan and Central Asia with the tandir at the center of it. Lula kebab - seasoned ground meat pressed onto skewers and taken over open flame - is the plate to lead with, and the rest of the grill follows the same tradition. The kitchen is certified kosher by the Vaad Harabonim of Queens, open Sunday through Thursday from eleven to ten and closed for Shabbat.
