Calle Ocho after dark: Tin Tin is the ambitious dinner-table sibling of the Tinta y Cafe family, and it treats Cuban cooking as a starting point rather than a rulebook. Croquetas of spinach and bacalao, bolas de yuca, chicharron chino latino, cazuela de mariscos, steak frites buried in truffle fries, salmon over coconut rice. Dessert leans passion fruit - the maracuya tres leches gets ordered by the whole table. Diners consistently single out the flavour and a floor team that reads a room well. Loud, confident, generous. One of Little Havana's more assured dinner rooms.
