TIPICO HONDURENO – Restaurant

Open at six in the morning on NW 7th Avenue, Tipico Hondureno is a small counter operation that has been feeding Miami's Honduran community for years. Baleadas are why people come - the classic hondurena, or loaded with carne asada - backed by sopa de res, sopa de mondongo, pupusas, tamales, bistec de pollo and atol de elote. Orders land in about ten minutes and cost less than they should. Diners keep returning for the soups and the seasoning on the meat. Almost no atmosphere, and nobody minds. Breakfast here is simply the correct decision.
