TORO TORO – Restaurant
A pan-Latin steakhouse on Chopin Plaza in downtown Miami, where dinner comes with a DJ and, some nights, a full Carnival show. The kitchen works in small plates and big cuts: roasted corn and bacon guacamole, wagyu El Matador tartare, truffle Mishima beef tiradito, ceviche nikkei, short rib and bone marrow arepas, lobster mac and cheese, and steaks finished with chimichurri and bone marrow butter. Dessert is La Bomba, which arrives as an event. Diners flag the prices and the service charge, then say the food justified it. Dinner as theatre.
