Trattoria Luna is a small, owner-run Italian room on South Dixie Highway where the bread arrives hot and the portions are built for sharing. The kitchen runs mozzarella in carrozza and calamari e zucchini fritti to start, then linguine alle vongole, tortellini al pesto, pollo Milanese tricolore, a seafood risotto cooked in squid ink, and the chicken parmesan that most tables end up ordering. Lasagna and tiramisu handle the celebrations. Diners repeatedly credit the owner for greeting tables himself and adjusting dishes on request. Relaxed, generous, and quietly consistent.
