TRATTORIA MANGIA – Restaurant

Trattoria Mangia is a small family operation on Santa Barbara Boulevard in Naples, making its pasta on site and filling a modest room plus an outdoor overflow patio most nights. The kitchen turns out ravioli boscaiola with shrimp, homemade pappardelle bolognese, involtini di melanzane, homemade manicotti, chicken parmigiana and a snapper with clams and mussels in marinara. Bread, a glass of Nero d'Avola, and the daughter of the house working the floor complete the picture. Reservations are the difference between dinner and disappointment.
