TRIBUTE TO TOBACCO ROAD BY KUSH – Restaurant
Kush Hospitality's tribute to Tobacco Road, the long-running Miami bar it takes its name from, reopened as a small, loud, memorabilia-covered room on South Miami Avenue in Brickell that seats maybe fifty and runs to 2am most nights. The burgers carry it: the Death Burger, and the Frita by Kush with guava jelly, bacon and house sauce. Around them sit Hobo Frito pie, chili cheese fries, truffle fries, alligator strips, bang bang shrimp, fried pickles and key lime pie. Craft beer, sharp cocktails, homemade hot sauces. Retro Miami played straight, and the bartenders make the night.
