TSAOCAA & HIBACHI – Restaurant

A small, calm room on South Tamiami Trail doing Taiwanese snack food and boba properly. The Korean corn dogs are the draw, the original and the crisp golden potato version both, alongside Taiwanese popcorn chicken, Korean chicken wings in soy garlic, takoyaki, well-spiced fries and Hong Kong egg waffles. The drinks hold their end up too, with boba, fruit teas and slush versions. Diners come back for the prices as much as the food, and the service gets mentioned nearly as often. Cheap thrills, done carefully.
