TWISTED TURTLE CREAMERY – American
A locally owned creamery in the World Golf Village area of St. Augustine, run by a family that makes its own caramel and means it. Frozen custard is the specialty — natural flavourings, real pumpkin puree in the seasonal Pumpkin Twister — alongside soft serve, frozen yogurt and hand-built sundaes. The Turtle Club is the signature; the Allmond Bros, strawberry shortcake and banana split follow. Cheesecake bites are made in house, and they will decorate a custard cake for a birthday. Visitors talk about the owners as much as the ice cream. Small shop, real ingredients, no shortcuts.
