VICIOUS BISCUIT – Restaurant

The biscuits arrive at the size the name promises, and there's a jam-and-butter bar to work through while you decide what goes on top. This Neptune Beach breakfast room, a block off the ocean, builds nearly everything on them: vicious maple sausage gravy, a shrimp-and-grits biscuit, Nashville hot chicken, the Old School with eggs, plus fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles and beignets alongside. Portions are generous, plates come out hot, and the space is bright and open with patio seating and neon on the walls. Seven to two-thirty, every day. Come hungry, leave slowly.
