VILLAGE PIZZA – Restaurant
A neighbourhood pizzeria in the Village Square plaza off Thomasville Road, quiet enough for a weeknight table and cheap enough for a lunch special. The pizza runs light on sauce and heavy on cheese, with beef pepperoni; the kitchen's real trick is meat ravioli cooked to the right side of tender. Garlic rolls in butter and parmigiana, garlic cheese bread, mozzarella sticks, chicken diablo, meatball subs and a bianca pie fill out the order. Portions are generous, prices fair, the staff genuinely warm. The room could use a refresh. The food does not.
