A Main Street deli in Chiefland that opens at ten and is done by three — lunch, and only lunch. Sandwiches and salads are the backbone, with a gyro for anyone tired of the deli case and a soup-and-sandwich pairing, tomato soup with a grilled cheese carrying bacon and tomato, that has become the default order. The chicken pot pie soup sells hard, the key lime pie holds its own, and the cookies are baked in house. They cater too, with Boar's Head trays. Regulars come several times a month and insist you can't order wrong.
