VOODOO BAYOU – Restaurant

New Orleans by way of Sand Lake Road, dressed in dark wood and voodoo iconography with a reservation-only speakeasy tucked in back. The kitchen commits: buttermilk biscuits people order twice, spicy meatballs over grits, fried gator tail, oysters Rockefeller, jambalaya thick with sausage and shrimp, and a shrimp and crawfish étouffée worth the heat. Banana pudding closes it. The bar leans into old fashioneds and originals like the Snake Oil Salesman.
