At the NW 7th Avenue room in Miami the mac and cheese arrives loaded — jerk chicken, jerk shrimp, Philly cheesesteak, buffalo chicken, chicken parmesan, seafood — alongside buttermilk chicken and waffles, wings, oxtails and homemade lemonade, with a full vegan side of the menu including Aisha's vegan mac. Art on the walls, music up, portions generous for the price. Diners repeatedly describe being treated like family and an owner who checks in personally. Comfort food with a vibe attached.
