ZZ'S SUSHI BAR – Restaurant
ZZ's is Major Food Group's Japanese room in the Miami Design District, designed by Ken Fulk and built around a sixteen-seat omakase counter run by Masa Ito and Kevin Kim, who held a Michelin star at New York's Sushi Zo. Fish is flown in from Tokyo. Beyond the counter sit two dining rooms, a courtyard and a sports bar, with an à la carte menu running from raw preparations to premium Japanese beef finished on custom charcoal grills. Membership is invitation-only, but lunch is open to anyone who can get a table. Luxury, unapologetically.
