595 TIKI BAR AND GRILL – Restaurant

Burris Road in Davie, in a stretch of truck stop parking better known to drivers than to food writers, which is precisely the charm. The tiki decor sits outside; inside there are pool tables, darts, a jukebox and arcade machines, and the room fills with long haul drivers and locals in roughly equal measure. The grill turns out a Philly cheesesteak, the Tiki Smash Burger, chicken sandwiches, quesadillas, chili dogs and chili fries, with beef tacos on Tuesdays. Doors open at eleven and stay open until two in the morning, every day. Value and a fast welcome are the constants.
