59TH AND LEX – Restaurant
On the upper level of Bloomingdale's inside Aventura Mall, named for the store's Manhattan corner at 59th and Lexington, and built for the pause in the middle of a shopping day. The menu is cafe scaled but wide: inventive salads, chef driven sandwiches and burgers, and a run of fish, poultry and pasta plates, plus daily specials, twilight dinners and Sunday brunch. There is outdoor seating and a pickup counter. Most tables finish with Forty Carrots frozen yogurt, the department store's long running signature, which for some people is the whole reason. Reliable refuelling between floors, not a destination dinner.
