Bayside at mile marker 47.5 in Marathon, just shy of the Seven Mile Bridge, 7 Mile Grill has fed Keys traffic since 1954. Arrive by car or tie up at the dock. Breakfast runs seven until half eleven and is the sleeper, with an early-bird plate of eggs, ham and homefries before nine. Later it turns to locally landed fish, fried baskets, scallops, a hand-built mix grill burger and grilled entrees, with Greek touches, cold beer and wine filling the gaps. The homemade key lime pie is the house banner. Dogs welcome on the deck. Old Keys, no polish needed.
