On Ambersweet Way in Davenport, the second room from a small Polk County burger outfit that also runs a food truck. One plain idea drives it: handmade patties, local beef, quality over gimmick. The Bourbon BBQ piles on whiskey onions, bacon, pepper jack and bourbon barbecue sauce; the Bad Hombre goes jalapeno and cheddar; the Classic does exactly what it says. Hand-cut fries, fried cheese pickles, fried mac and cheese and a dozen jumbo wings fill out the rest. Combo meals and kids' meals keep it easy. Doors open late morning, close at eight. Central Florida's least complicated good meal.
