AHI ASIAN BISTRO – Restaurant
North Dale Mabry, since 2018: a Thai kitchen and a sushi bar under one roof, run by chef-owner Roger Lama, who has spent more than twenty years cooking Thai and Japanese food. The menu is deliberately wide — curries and noodles on one side, nigiri, sashimi and rolls on the other — and much of it can be built to order if you want it your way. Diners keep landing on the same three points: the fish is fresh, the service is quick, and the bill is lower than the plating suggests. The owner is usually somewhere on the floor.
