AHI SUSHI – Restaurant

A small downtown sushi bar on 1st Avenue North, run by Chef Daniel and his wife Yan, who plate as though someone is watching. Rolls carry the menu — rainbow, volcano and a long list of specials — beside scallop nigiri crowned with ikura, a uni hand roll finished in gold leaf, and a broad à la carte run of sushi and sashimi. The kitchen side covers katsu, tempura, stir-fried udon, fried rice and soups. A midday menu keeps lunch affordable. Diners name the same two things: genuinely composed plates and a bill that undersells the care. Closed on Mondays.
