Inside West End Market, Dunedin's reimagined food hall at 990 Broadway, Al Dente runs a made-to-order pasta and pizza counter alongside the hall's other stalls. The kitchen turns out wood-fired pies like the Margherita, the Diavola, and a four-cheese pizza, plus fresh pasta: ravioli filled with sausage in vodka sauce, spinach ricotta with pesto, and mushroom in cacio e pepe, alongside rigatoni with shrimp and cherry tomato, linguine carbonara, and gnocchi with gorgonzola pistachio. Bruschetta arrives loaded with mortadella and gorgonzola pistachio or Parma prosciutto and burrata. Grandma's meatballs and a classic tiramisu round out the counter's short, homemade menu.
