AL FUEGO GRILL – Restaurant

South Dixie Highway churrascaria cooking, built around a grill and very generous portions. Al Fuego Grill turns out USDA Prime churrasco, picanha, filet mignon and lamb chops, each landing with two sides, and a three-pound parrilla for tables that arrive hungry. Croquettes come filled with ham, manchego or chorizo. Sides stay classic: black beans, white rice, sweet plantains. Earlier in the day the kitchen switches registers entirely, sending out pancakes, waffles, crepes, French toast, burritos, tacos and tortas. Diners talk most about the churrasco, the pork picana and the shrimp tacos. Casual room, serious fire, and portions worth the drive.
