An izakaya on East Palmetto Park Road that treats small plates and drinking as the same project. Sushi runs from tuna crispy rice and spicy tuna rolls through seared salmon and full nigiri sets, but the kitchen's personality shows elsewhere: a house pastrami sandwich on Japanese milk bread with red onion marmalade, hot mustard and tonkatsu sauce, or Chilean sea bass in an ume miso glaze over shiso pesto with crispy maitake. Lobster ceviche and king crab appear too. Highball and handroll Thursdays, Tuna Tuesdays, happy hour daily from four, bar open until midnight. Playful, polished, and built for lingering.
