ALMA DE ESPANA – Restaurant
Southside Village, Osprey Avenue, and a wood-fired grill doing the heavy lifting. Chef Elier Rodriguez cooks Spain honestly: gambas al ajillo, pulpo a la gallega, croquetas, hand-carved Iberico charcuterie, lamb romesco, tortilla espanola, and paella in both seafood and Valenciana forms. Small plates are the whole format, so tables order in waves and simply keep going. Sangria comes red or white, the Alma mojito is a house pour, and the wine list runs deep into Spanish regions. Churros and Basque-style cheesecake close things out. Dinner only, closed on Mondays. Guests consistently describe a room built for sharing and staying late.
