ANNA MARIA OYSTER BAR LANDSIDE – Restaurant

The mainland sibling of the island original, open on 14th Street West in Bradenton since 1997 and built for a crowd: a wide dining room, two full bars, a private room, plus a deck, a lawn and cornhole out back. Oysters lead: raw, steamed, Rockefeller, done in Grandma Georgie's chipotle style, or fried into a sandwich. Half-pound Gulf grouper goes straight to the grill. New England clam chowder, lobster bisque and spicy seafood gumbo start most meals; coconut shrimp and a half-pound Angus burger keep everyone else happy. The Halfway Lounge runs live music nightly. Families come and stay late.
