5TH SEASON DINER AND LOUNGE – Restaurant

The 14th Street West room that traded for years as 5th Season Diner and Lounge has changed hands and now works as Papa Wally's Cafe, the same 150 seat diner on a shorter day. Doors open at seven, Tuesday through Sunday, and the kitchen stops mid afternoon. The menu runs three pages: eggs, omelets, skillets, pancakes, waffles, crepes and French toast on one side; sandwiches, burgers, wraps and fried seafood and chicken platters on the other. Avocado toast and Papa's breakfast sandwich are the newer additions. Generous, affordable, unpretentious, served by people who learn your name. Bradenton's kind of place.
