Steps from the Intracoastal on Datura Street, Avocado Grill trades in small plates and a raw bar. Guacamole comes plain or gingered; after that it is spiced lamb sliders, edamame truffle dumplings, crispy calamari, grilled octopus with chorizo and marcona almonds, and ceviche mixto. Large plates run to short rib fettuccine, everything salmon risotto, grilled fish tacos and filet mignon au poivre. Salads lean local: grilled avocado with street corn salsa, arugula with heirloom tomatoes and artichokes. A vegan menu is available on request, and the kitchen names its local farm suppliers. Pink Steak and Avocado Cantina are sister restaurants.
