A small Cuban kitchen on Northwest 79th Street in Miami, trading as AY Cuban Food and working ventanita staples from breakfast into the evening. Sandwiches carry it: pan con bistec with onion, tomato and potato sticks, pan con lechon dressed in mojo, a media noche on sweet bread, and a Miami stacked with ham, turkey, bacon and Swiss. Beyond bread there are tamales with masitas de puerco, grilled bistec with rice, beans and yuca con mojo, plus croquetas, empanadas, tequenos and a fried-egg breakfast with ham. Natural juices run mamey, guanabana, mango, maracuya, guayaba and tamarindo. Colada for the table.
