Babe's – Restaurant

Jason and Melanie Schoendorfer began selling hand-crafted sausages at a Pinecrest Gardens farmers market in 2013 and opened this Palmetto Bay butcher shop and deli five years later. Behind the counter: house-smoked meats, pickles cured in-house, specialty cuts, and a smashburger that Miami New Times named the city's best burger in 2021 and again in 2025. For eight years the place was takeout only. In 2026 it added roughly forty seats, its first dining room, so the burger can finally be eaten where it is cooked. Butcher case on one side, griddle on the other, sausages still made in house.
