Bagel Bar – Restaurant

Bagel Bar sits on Pierce Street in Kingston and does considerably more than its name suggests. Artisan New York-style bagels come out beside challah and olive loaves, but the kitchen is really Israeli: shakshuka tzfatit, Mediterranean shakshuka, sabich, a humshuka bowl, a full Israeli breakfast, cheese blintzes and sourdough avocado toast. Greek, Mediterranean and quinoa salads round it out, along with New York, Italian and four-cheese paninis, personal pizzas and a daily soup. The room is bright and modern, set up equally for a counter order or a long sit. Kosher certified throughout. Espresso drinks and pastries handle the rest.
