BAGELS WITH DELI – Restaurant

A Palm Beach Gardens deli that keeps New York hours in spirit if not in latitude: open daily from seven until mid-afternoon, with baking underway around two in the morning. The bagel board covers plain, sesame, poppy, pumpernickel, multi-grain, garlic, onion and salt, and the schmears run to lox spread, chive, very veggie and cinnamon honey walnut. Order the New Yorker with Taylor ham, an L.E.O. omelet of nova and grilled onions, or corned beef hash made in house. Later, a Reuben on grilled rye, a triple-decker turkey club, matzoh ball soup. Bagels, deli and coffee: simple food, done properly.
