BAHIA BOWLS – American
This is where the whole thing started. Ben Casey, an Estero native and FGCU student, opened the first Bahia Bowls in 2017 with family friend Van Hatziyianis, in a Grande Oak plaza they picked for its mix of locals, students and visitors. The menu is superfruit-first: organic acai blended with strawberry and banana, topped with granola, blueberries, coconut shavings and honey, alongside pitaya bowls, green bowls and smoothies. Salads, wraps and artisan toasts handle lunch. Doors open at eight and stay open until eight or nine at night. Give Back Nights funnel part of the day's takings to local causes.
