BAMBOO DE LA 40 – Restaurant

Colombian cooking runs deep at Bamboo Restaurante de la 40, a Southwest 42nd Street room in Miami that opens at nine for tinto, cortadito and warm pan de bono. The kitchen builds outward from bandeja paisa, in standard and super sizes, into ajiaco, mondongo, sancocho de costilla and cazuela de frijoles. Grill work covers punta de anca, baby entrana and bistec a caballo; the sea side brings mojarra frita and cazuela de frutos del mar. Picada Bamboo is sized to feed a whole table. Finish with tres leches, flan or postre de natas. Private events are welcomed here as well.
