BAR 1903 – Restaurant

The David S. Walker Library on East Park Avenue served Tallahassee until 1976; today the 1903 building pours cocktails. Thirty-six seats, first come first served, no reservations, parties of eight maximum. The list spans roughly 160 years of mixing, backed by deep shelves of gin, rye, mezcal, amaro and bourbon. Food stays shareable: an artisan cheese board, warm rarebit with toasted sourdough, a hummus mezze with feta and toasted pita, fig and goat cheese flatbread, jalapeno gazpacho with burrata. Happy hour runs weekdays five until seven. Doors open at five; Sundays and major holidays are dark. Small room, serious drinks.
