BARTON G THE RESTAURANT – Restaurant

Dinner here arrives as spectacle: cotton-candy wigs, liquid-nitrogen cocktails poured at the Below Zero Nitro-Bar, and plates built to be photographed before they are eaten. Barton G. sits on West Avenue in Miami Beach and leans hard into it. Lobster pop-tarts in flaky phyllo, wagyu Strike Out Sliders on truffle buns, Laughing Bird popcorn shrimp, jerked wings under pomegranate glaze. Mains run a Seafood Bubble Bath of snow crab and andouille, Samurai Salmon, lobster over Anson Mills grits, oxtail lasagna and a forty-ounce prime tomahawk. Desserts are the headline act, Marie Antoinette included. Theatre first; the kitchen still backs it.
