BERRY FRESH CAFE – Restaurant

On US-1 north in Palm Beach Gardens, Berry Fresh Cafe runs a scratch kitchen from seven in the morning to mid-afternoon and then stops: breakfast, brunch and lunch, nothing after. The blueberry fritters come in a paper bag, shaken with cinnamon sugar tableside and dipped in strawberry yogurt. Hashes are the house move, Nashville hot chicken, big country under sausage gravy, brisket corned beef. Benedicts arrive beneath scratch-made hollandaise. Add lemon ricotta pancakes, Captain Crunch French toast on challah, the Butcher Shop omelet, scratch biscuits and a vegan Hippie Picnic sandwich. Family-owned since 2009, and still cooking exactly that way.
