The Stuart branch of Berry Fresh Cafe sits on SE Federal Highway, open at seven and finished by mid-afternoon, a breakfast and lunch kitchen with no dinner service. Fritters full of blueberries come to the table in a paper sack, shaken with cinnamon sugar. Benedicts sit under scratch-made hollandaise: Irish with homemade corned beef hash, Nashville chicken layered on pimento cheese and pickles. Elsewhere, lemon ricotta pancakes, challah French toast rolled in Captain Crunch, chicken-and-biscuit omelet, shrimp and stone-ground grits, jalapeno pepper jelly chicken and waffles.
