BETWEEN THE BUNZ – Restaurant
A mobile kitchen rather than a storefront, parked at Southwest Florida festivals, county park events and private parties. Michael and Tammy Trovato ran a kosher style deli and a pizza parlour in New Jersey before bringing the griddle south. Half pound fresh cut beef burgers and smash burgers anchor the board, joined by hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, crab cakes, fish tacos, loaded fries and onion rings. Impossible patties and gluten free buns are standard rather than an afterthought, and there is a kids menu. Everything is cooked to order on site. Check the schedule first; the truck moves most days.
