BIG DADDY'S PIZZA & SUBS – Restaurant
A State Road 7 pizzeria that has run on the same family recipe since 2006, opened by a New Yorker who learned the trade in his parents' Coral Springs kitchen. Pies come New York style by the slice or up to a twenty-inch, with Sicilian and grandma trays, a house special heavy on pepperoni and sausage, and a bruschetta pizza built on marinated tomato and fresh basil. The rest is proper red-sauce work: chicken parm, penne a la vodka, stuffed shells, shrimp scampi, garlic rolls, wings by the hundred. Lunch specials run weekday afternoons. Cannoli, tiramisu and homemade zeppoles close.
